DATE: Commencing Thursday, November 11th at 8pm and running for 6 weeks.
Yin/Restorative. A quiet practice for deep introspection. Long, deep, passive stretches, allowing the body/mind to release slowly and patiently. It's a practice of cultivating patience, clear understanding and deep listening to what is present now. There are 3 principles to Yin. 1. Find your edge, not too much, not too little 2. Become still 3. Give it time. The body is communicating with us all the time but if we don't stop to listen to what it's trying to say, dis-ease, un-ease can occur. Yin yoga teaches us to pause and unravel the tension and stress in our tissues and restorative allows us to fully feel safe and supported. There may be a active Yang pose interspersed along the journey to avoid stagnation. A great counter practice for athletes or busy people. Open to everyone who wants to feel better, from the comfort of your own home. I hope you will join me.
