Thomas Hanna Somatics

An integrated, slow, subtle, practice that requires active engagement from the brain to the body for maximum freedom and much less stiffness and pain. This takes a little time to understand as we are mostly on autopilot in daily life rushing everywhere with no real thought of how we are doing what we are doing.  Developing a simple daily somatic practice for the body/mind teaches us to understand the patterning which we are creating from moment to moment but most importantly the patterns that are not serving us, our posture, our mood and our ability to live well.  Take control of our own health by learning and practicing a few simple daily movements to keep you out of trouble. Mostly practiced all the floor but many of the movements can be practiced from a kitchen chair if not able to get to the floor.
